The War Against Breast Cancer Raffle-Auction started as a 3-on-3 basketball tournament and basket raffle in 2011.
The coronavirus pandemic ended the basketball tournament in 2020 and the fundraiser was reformatted to focus on the raffle-auction, which had doubled in size. The fundraiser also was moved from Southington to the Trumbull County Fairgrounds.
By 2022, the fundraiser had grown into one of the largest raffle-auctions in Trumbull County — thanks to the support of our supporters and businesses who care about the well-being of the community.
The 15th Annual War Against Breast Cancer Raffle-Auction – our final fundraiser – boasted 483 items in 2025. Thank you for your support!
Beyond the huge basket raffle, the War Against Breast Cancer Rafle-Auction also featured a Cow Patty Bino, princess and superhero characters, live music, food trucks, a mammography van and an archery contest to make it a family event.
