Helping breast cancer survivors since 2011

Thank you for stopping by to learn more about This Means War Against Breast Cancer!

Our full name is Beth Ann Vanek This Means War Against Breast Cancer. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to helping breast cancer survivors with their lost wages and out-of-pocket medical expenses that are not covered by insurance.

The “This Means War” in our name comes from the mantra of co-founder Beth Ann Vanek, who chose to not let the fear and worry surrounding her breast cancer diagnosis at age 30 sabotage her journey to wellness.

Since our first fundraiser in 2011, we have raised more than $173,000 for 13 breast cancer survivors. You can read more about our wonderful honorees here: Honorees
